CLIMBING

The area of Los Galayos is the closest area for those who are regular climbers, and therefore have a high technical level.

If you like to gain access to this area you will have to go the neighboring town of Guisando. From there you must drive your car until El Nogal de Barranco, which is 22 km far from Candeleda. From there, you will walk through a foot path, which will take a couple of hours to arrive Los Galayos. The time will depend on the pace you set. When you arrive at the Victory mountain hut ("Refugio Victory" is its name in Spanish"), you will have reached the climbing area.
