Candeleda Golf Club was inaugurated in April 2003. It is located in the Valle del Tiétar (halfway between Candeleda and Madrigal de la Vera, at only 180 km from Madrid.) It is surrounded by the Almanzor by the North and it is bordered by the Reserva de El Rosarito. Furthermore it is covered by the warmth and color of a land that, known as the "Andalusia of Ávila". It will surprise its visitors and it will seduce them with its many charms, both in the sports and leisure and relaxation fields.
With a design of the three times world champion Manuel Piñero; and with a total distance of 6 180 m for men and 5 228 m for ladies; and with 72 par this course has numerous difficulties for players, both beginners and experts. On the way you will find greens surrounded by water, 3 par in which both stroke and precision are required; and 4 and 5 par surrounded by native groves and a great landscape with the Almanzor in the background. It is a very comfortable golf course as it is completely flat and where you will find an excellent climate all year round, with temperatures very similar to those of the seaside courses.
The Candeleda Golf Club is managed since March 2009 by the Candeleda City Council, with the advice and supervision of the R.F.E.G ("Real Federación Española de Golf" by its symbols in Spanish; it is the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.)
